I too am looking for a bathroom scale and have been disappointed with the Made in China scales. Two of them - and both are inaccurate and had to be returned. It seems to be impossible to find a bathroom scale not made in China here in Canada. The same goes for many other products. One thing I like to comment on and that is the reason manufacturing is mostly done now in China for all sorts of products. Because of it we are very upset about all the lost jobs especially in he USA. What we have to consider though is the reason why this has happened. It is because "we" the consumers want to buy the least expensive products if possible and we will go to the businesses that will give it to us. And so in order to be "competitive" companies have found the answer and have their products made cheaply in China. We shouldn't simply blame the manufacturers and businesses - they are giving us what we want - low prices. They have to give the customer what they want in order to make a sale and stay in business and keep jobs. And now we can all see the results. Maybe we have forgotten that "low prices - cheap" usually implies - Low Quality.

I'm happy and sad. Happy to find that there are wonderful people out there looking as I am for made in USA products. Sad over the lack of success. But the up side, if more people start looking and not settling for chinese products, companies who want to earn our money and respect may decide to open up plants here. But let's not forget to contact and keep pressure on our politicians to start giving tax incentives to companies in America as they did in the late sixties to 'spur' economic stability in underdeveloped countries to limit our foreign aid. That really worked well didn't it?

I'm remodeling my bath room. I need to replace towels and accessories [ toothbrush holder, soap dish, tumbler and trash container]. I have not been able find any of these made in the USA. Where can I find them. The only thing I have found is rugs.

I have been trying to find a automatic coffee brewer/maker that is made in the USA.I am not having any luck. I am tired of paying for chinese products and keeping them in jobs while many of my fellow Americans cant get a job or at least a job paying a wage that enables them to afford a place to live and transportation.

After years of search for different products Not Made in china I can say positively there are no non commercial toasters made in USA today. The best toaster on the market would be the Dualit "made in England" and cost $250-350. Hobart, Star and Hatco(most lines) commercial toasters are indeed Made in USA and cost between $500 and $1500.
