Enamelware, Pots/Pans, Graniteware

Filed under: Household Goods — Yankee @ 4:52 pm

If you are looking for tableware, you are probably looking for something like Fiestaware. Fiesta
It’s pretty common. You should be able to find it the major department stores. A quick websearch will help you nail down a retailer in your area.

As far as pots… Nordicware, All Clad Metal Crafters, Calphalon, Lodge Logic (Enamel product is imported). Look these up in the Quick Query database. There will be links on the far right “more info” button.

MadeByYankees Database

Use one word search and use the brand name rather than pot or pan.

I’ll have to research the Granitware

Also see, discussion in the blog on these pages. Stainless Steel

I’m also not able to find an iron of any kind, either dry or steam, Made in the USA. I believe there is a possibility that Reliable brand may be made in Canada. I am confirming this and will post back when I have confirmation. Reliable Corp

Filed under: Electronics, Household Goods, Uncategorized — Yankee @ 4:15 pm

Fire Alarm Systems and Smoke Alarms are at the top of the research list this week. Gary asked for information on a residential fire alarm system made in USA.

While Nationwide Alarm LLC Alarm Systems USA indicated that most of their systems are assembled in Mexico, Silent Knight Fire Alarm Panels are Made in teh USA.

They say… “Please visit our website and click on the fire alarm link for further information. You can also visit www.alarmax.com which is where we obtain most of our inventory, and click on the line card link to further search manufactures equipment specs. Reliant Systems likes to use the Silent Knight panels and System Sensor peripherals.” Reliant Systems
