Circular Handsaw

Filed under: Tools & Parts — Yankee @ 6:50 am

Can you find me a power circular handsaw, about a 7″ blade, made in USA? It seems Black&Decker, Makita, Milwaukee, Bosch, DeWalt, Skil, and Porter-Cable have all left our shores.

    Hi W.T.
Dotco and Cleco are brands that have been known to make power tools in the US. They both have drills.

Is this close to what you are looking for?

If it is, be sure to verify the mfg origin. I’ve only verified the drills as Made in USA. Though I feel strongly that if they make a hand saw it to would be made in USA. Double check though.

Thanks for the information. What I was looking for was an electric circular hand saw. Dotco and Cleco make pneumatic ones. I can still find hand tools (non-powered) made in the USA, as well as bits, burrs, files, things lilke that; but no electrics. I’ve bought a Milwaukee, because even though it might not be made here, the company seems to be a holdout on exporting their manufacturing.
