Thermos does have glass lined and stainless steel water bottles but neither are made in the USA. http://www.shopthermos.com/detail/TMS+HP4000BL6

I've confirmed with Thermos that these water bottles are made in the US. They however are NOT stainless steel or glass lined.
Hydration bottles HP4000, HP4020, and HP4030 series are all manufactured
in the USA. http://www.shopthermos.com/detail/TMS+HP4000BL6

J Theis,
Interesting request. I’m certain that there isn’t a stainless steel thermos made in the US, but I didn’t think about a glass one. I’ll begin the research on this. So far, yes, the glass ones still do exist. Whether they are made in the USA or not is another question. I’ll do the research and post back in a few days.

As of 5/11, I'm still looking but have had no luck to date.

Hi Paul,
Unfortunately I am unable to find small stainless steel items. I’ve had thermoses, water bottles, measuring cups and spoons on the search list for months and continue to come up empty handed. When I recently inquired on stainless steel cocktail shakers I was told that these types of items fall into a group of consumer products that are easily made but not highly sought after. In short, they are cheaper to make over seas in smaller quantities.

The only thing I can share in the way of a drinking container made in the USA is the Nagelene outdoor container. http://www.nalgene-outdoor.com/store/index.html
