Fishing Reel – Made in USA
Mark states “I cannot find US made fishing reels, can you help please?
P.S I stopped at Bass Pro Shop, both US reel and Penn reels are made in China.

Try this on the bass pro site. http://www.basspro.com Go up to the search field and type “made in usa” reel
You will get only the reals that have “made in usa” in the description. There are a few selections there. It does appear that they have them marked well.

If you haven’t been to the http://www.madebyyankees.net database you will want to try that.

Click on Search the database and enter just the word reel
You will have a several sites to browse.
I see that I have Penn listed as Made in USA. Where you have experienced
that they are not. There is a possibility that Penn makes reels domestically and overseas. It might also be that Bass Pro doesn’t sell the Made in USA version.

Ardent Reels are 100% Made in the U.S.A. Company is located in Missouri.
