Nothing is Made in the USA

Filed under: Made in USA concept — Yankee @ 6:42 am

The title of this post seems to be the sentiment of most people I talk to. Just last week I heard the comment “nothing is made in america anymore”. Only yesterday a family member was shopping for a gift. She wanted to buy a toy for a two year old and insisted that it be made in America. She was extremely frustrated because she couldn’t find a toy made in USA at Walmart.

I’m going to submit that the products are really available, we just don’t know what they are and where to find them. Here are some examples. Most of the products from major brands like Hasbro, Little Tikes, and Crayola are made in america.

So I challenge you to actually look at what you are buying. Share with us what you have found that is made in America. You can then challenge me. What would you like find made in the USA, that you can NOT find. I”ll help you find it!

I to like my daughter feel we should know what is made in the USA.
So when shopping I look for things made here . You find very few things with the lable made in the USA. We need to get manufacturing back where it belongs NOT overseas!
We need to to get our economy built back up and quit worring about third world countries

After all of these recalls, I have searched the web for American made toys for my daughter. If you are willing to shop online, there are several companies out there that sell toys made in the U.S.A.

If you would like to see my list of over 75 companies that sell toys made in America, please visit:

I remember years ago when Wal-mart’s sales slogan was “Made in America” and there was great pride in buying these products. We need to get back to buying American made items. NAFTA has turned this country upside down. It is the reason I lost my job, was forced to be retrained, and now I am making half the income I was previously. My job along with thousands of others has gone overseas and now our country is suffering with substandard and oftern dangerous products. Thank you for making accessable a place where I can search for products still made here in our country.

My mom wrote and self published a children’s book. It was written in NH and printed in VT. It doesn’t get more USA made than that! You can read more about it at http://www.brightdaybooks.biz

I would like to know if there are any
philanthropists that have the intestinal fortitude
to invest their monies and open a store named USA
Mart and buys and sells 100% American. If there
is, get off your keister and start 100% American
USA Mart hiring American citizens to bring back the
    true meaning of America.

P.S. Buy American. I’m tired of buying Chinese.
    Thank you.

    Yours truly,

Hi. Mel Bullard again. Just wanted to let you
know that everytime you buy a Chinese product from
WalMart or where ever, you’re supporting Communism
and making a step backwards to the known free world
so keep buying Chinese. Pretty soon you’ll be
speaking it and eating it. Wake up America. All
this is at the expense of your children. Wake up
people and do what’s right for this country. We
need the manufacturing jobs here. Just an example,
tried to find an American-made microwave. There
are none. There are but a few that are assembled
in the U.S. and at least Sharp keeps America work-
    ing. Thanks again. Happy Holidays.
